Whatever Happens, the Lindsay Clancy Verdict Is Primed to Be the Mother of All Gender Wars

It’s been three days of deliberation — and still we have no verdict in the Lindsay Clancy trial. The woman admitted to murdering her three children with exercise bands in January 2023 and afterward attempted to commit suicide by cutting her wrists and jumping out of a second-story window, which left her paralyzed from the waist down. She’s claiming that her postpartum psychosis renders her not responsible for the heinous act. This case has set up the mother of all gender battles, regardless of the verdict.

Here’s the thing: if child murder is going to be marginalized because some people are mentally ill, then those people should still be locked up forever. This is nonnegotiable. Lines must be drawn, and if Clancy is found not guilty by reason of insanity or whatever, then her fate should be nonstop electroshock therapy (bring it back), drugged until she’s a drooling vegetable, and chained to a bed until she dies.

I’ll take her not being convicted as a sign that our societal decay has reached a crisis point, where child murder is now something the mentally unstable latch onto to avoid punishment and accountability. I’ve had it with coddling and enabling the mentally ill — some people just cannot be outside. We used to lock these people up; we should go back to that.

In the meantime, Clancy has earned a horde of supporters, these white liberal women fawning over her lawyer and praising Clancy for speaking for them. This is the base of the Democrat Party, and frankly, when a party supports, enables, and encourages legal infanticide via abortion, this is what you get. Add the Trump era, and it’s a black-tar heroin-addled paradigm of absolute chaos and mayhem.

Clancy was exhibiting a mental decline, but so what? Her husband rearranged his work schedule to accommodate her needs from home; his job paid $400,000/year; they had a nanny — Clancy had help, more than most in her situation. And she killed her kids.

Men seem to understand that child murder is wrong. Women seem to go on a plethora of tangents that aren’t even new, like how they do all the work — debatable—the systems of oppression, patriarchy, overmedication by big pharma, how they can’t have it all, the stress of motherhood, and every little, itty-bitty thing that is irrelevant to the whole ‘she killed her kids’ part. You kill kids; you deserve the death penalty by firing squad, your remains burned to ashes, and the ashes dumped in some sewer when normal, civilized citizens dump their waste. That’s the only resting place befitting these types of animals.
