I don't know what Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA15) is smoking, but it's probably the Devil's lettuce. What the hell is this man talking about? Is this what wraps around his mind when he's farting into cushions? It's a reckless talking point that makes the argument that Democrats want a civil war.
For days, they've been bellowing to our service members not to follow illegal orders from President Trump. No such orders have been given, but Democrats, laughably, want to be the ones who dictate which orders are legal or not. It's wild. And now, Swally is coming in claiming the military is a check in our system of government. We're not Turkey pre-Erdoğan, you clown.
This is a weapons-grade version of whatever Tim Walz has, folks (via NY Post):

He then compares the US military to congress and the judiciary as checks on executive power.

“What gives me hope, and I talk to service members all the time. They tell me that I don’t appreciate enough and the public doesn’t appreciate enough that while Congress is not a check on the president anymore, and the judiciary at the Supreme Court is hardly a check, military members have told me, ‘We can be a check,'” Swalwell said.
“They’re essentially saying, ‘We’re not going to betray our oath to the Constitution because this guy tells us to.’ While it’s not codified that way — they’re not a branch of government on their own— their honor and integrity might just save us.”
First, I don't believe him. Second, this stunt has landed these clowns in trouble, earning them interviews with the FBI over possible seditious activity. Third, Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) might be court-martialed over this fiasco. Last, if you cannot answer a simple follow-up question, which is what illegal orders, if any, Trump has issued, then this attack line is dead.
It's reckless, and it's pushing the nation toward the brink of a conflict Democrats cannot win. The Left, comprised of single, unhinged cat ladies, transgenders, and a bunch of gays, will not and could never win a civil war.
Granted, this line of attack is likely popular among the Bluesky huffers, but it's whackjob city to 75 percent of the country.
