Why are people going to vote for Harris/Walz? It’s a little hard for us to fathom that people actually will, but millions upon millions are going to. It’s inevitable. Why? Let me explore a few reasons.
1. Hatred of Donald Trump. There are millions of people in America who hate Mr. Trump. They use his mean tweets, his arrogance, J6, his lawfare cases, and a myriad of comparable motives for their loathing of the man. They simply cannot stand Trump and will never vote for him. TDS.
Whether we like someone’s personality or not, we should not let such affect how we vote. We must not vote emotionally, we must vote rationally. One of the greatest tragedies in America right now is that there are few, very few, virtuous politicians at any level of government, and if we adopt a virtuous personality as our standard for voting, we may never find anyone for whom to vote.
But this isn’t the real reason so many people hate Trump. It’s not his personality, it’s what he believes and upholds. Haters will shout “J6!” and then hypocritically defend to their dying breath the George Floyd riots. These people hate America; that’s what they hate. Donald Trump represents traditional American values. That’s why they hate him, not because of his tweets. How many people do you know who say, “Oh, I agree with everything Trump says, but I’m going to vote for Harris because I don’t like Trump’s tweets”? Those people, if they are honest, do not exist. They hate Trump for what he stands for because they hate traditional America. Period.
2. They don’t care. Every single day, I read of something unreasonable that Harris or Walz said, some lie they told, some incomprehensible word salad, some flip-flop, some dodging or not answering questions for fear of exposure—something that demonstrates just how radical, unintelligent, and incompetent they are. Do we really want these two people on the world stage dealing with Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, Kim Jung-un, and Iranian mullahs? This is a horrifying thought.
Harris and Walz are clearly severely lacking in intelligence, moral fiber, love of America, and aptitude for wise, frugal government. Far and away, and so obviously, they are the two most inept candidates either party has ever nominated to the Presidency. It's worse than even Joe Biden, and that’s saying a lot.
But millions don’t care. They just don’t care how inept Harris is. They are going to vote for her. Her clear lack of competence means absolutely nothing to them. They will vote for her either because of my first point—they hate what Donald Trump stands for—or because of my third point, hereby explained.
3. They agree with her radical, Marxist, licentious, evil philosophy. Millions have accepted godless Leftism, and these people will vote for the godless Harris and Walz.
America, of course, began with an almost universally agreed-upon Judeo-Christian moral standard. “That book (the Bible) is the rock upon which this Republic rests,” Andrew Jackson stated. While the country (and individuals) obviously did not live up to the perfect standard of Christian morality (nobody ever has or does), it was still the canon by which actions were judged. Things were “right” or “wrong”—universally—based on the Judeo-Christian moral code.
That began to change in the radical 1960s. A history of that decade is not possible here, but the results are precise. Most people in America now do not accept Christianity as the final standard of what is right or wrong. Indeed—and this is crucial—most people (even agnostics and atheists) create their own “god” by which they judge things to be right or wrong. Let me give my sister a perfect example.
She is an extremely sweet lady (she owns a cat, lives in a suburb, and guzzles Chardonnay by the bottle) who would do almost anything for anybody. And she will vote for Harris/Walz (she told me so). She believes in “God,” but it is a “god” of her own creation. In other words, her “god” condemns whatever my sister wants to be condemned but allows her to do whatever she wants to do. She doesn’t adhere to the moral teachings of Christianity—she creates her own. Sometimes, her standards agree with Christianity; sometimes, they don’t. The bottom line is that she has fashioned her own “god” in her own image to judge rightness and wrongness. In effect, she has become her own “God.” This is what everybody who rejects God’s absolute moral standard does.
Many conservatives do the same thing. They don’t accept Christianity and thus set up their own philosophy of “virtue” and “evil.” I’ve got a problem with that, wherever it is found. What makes one human’s philosophy any better than any other human’s philosophy? Why were we right in World War 2 and Hitler wrong—if everything is based on ever-evolving human philosophy? Indeed, if there is no God, then the Left is right, folks; there is no absolute standard of morality; it is ever-evolving and ever-changing, and morality can be whatever humans want it to be whenever they want it to be. Made to order for totalitarians like Hitler, Stalin, Mao—and Democrats.
Kamala recently said that abortion is not contradictory to “faith.” Well, that is undoubtedly true if you do what she—and my sister and all Democrats—do: create their own god. If you devise your own god, then you can have that “god” condone abortion, child mutilation, pedophilia, whatever you want, and have him/her/it hate Christianity. That is what the Left is doing. They, not the true God, determine what is “good” and “evil” and what “sins” should be obliterated. My sister wouldn’t hurt a fly. But she will vote for a philosophy that has killed hundreds of millions of innocent people over the last century. Her “god” lets her do it.
Such are some reasons millions will vote for Harris/Walz.
