We have our Speaker of the House! It's Kevin McCarthy. And if you didn't stay up late Friday night, you would have missed a significant moment (not the election of Kevin McCarthy). Don't get me wrong, McCarthy is fine; I have no strong feelings one way or another, frankly. I'm just glad that we can get on with our investigations in the House. But the significant thing you might have missed was when the minority leader, Hakeem Jeffries, introduced himself to the world.
