President Joe Biden is compromised when it comes to dealing with the Chinese communists and the Covid-19 virus.
As I explained in yesterday's VIP column (if you aren't a VIP member, please consider joining to keep our uncensored, free opinions flowing here across the Townhall sites and use code LOC for a discount), the "Wuhan Lab Leak Theory" will ultimately lead us to the conclusion that China has engaged in a deadly and devastating act of war against America and her allies around the world.
The Biden Administration has gone so far as to announce that they are not ruling out the possibility that the virus was created in the Wuhan lab and deliberately released to the public.

But even if the virus leaked from the top-secret lab accidentally, the 18 months of obfuscation, coverup, and outright lying by the communist government in Beijing has directly resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans and the crippling of our economy. Accidental or not, the lab leak would be tantamount to an act of war.
So, what will the Biden Administration do about it?
Here's where we have a problem. You see, whatever Biden decides to do (if he's the one really doing the deciding, that is) will come under intense scrutiny over his tangled financial relationship with various corporate interests in China.
The man is compromised.
As NBC News reported in December, President Biden's son, Hunter, is currently under a federal criminal investigation that appears to be focused directly on his financial dealings with China.

The investigation, which Hunter Biden announced Wednesday, was opened in 2018, the year before his father announced his candidacy for president, the source said. The inquiry was already in motion when William Barr was appointed attorney general.
Hunter Biden joined the board of directors at a Chinese investment company in 2013, when his father was vice president. Facing intensifying attacks from President Donald Trump and his allies during the presidential campaign, Hunter Biden announced in October 2019 that he planned to step down from the board at the end of the month.
Now, here's how these things work: If Biden does little or nothing to punish China for these atrocities, it will be clear that he's happy pocketing his money as "The Big Guy" and protecting his son's business interests rather than inflicting punishment against a foreign power that has killed untold thousands of innocent Americans.
However, if Biden delivers a deadly and devastating blow to China to punish this hostile adversary, how will any of us know that he's only doing it to distract from the suspicions that he's beholden to the Beijing communists? How would we know that his muscular use of force wouldn't actually be an overcompensation to "prove" he's not Xi's puppet?
We won't know. Either way, Biden is compromised.
It didn't have to be this way.
Look back at that NBC News article cited above. December 10, 2020. One month after election day. Why did this story get reported after election day?
In the weeks leading up to the election, only the New York Post and websites like Townhall spent any significant time reporting and analyzing the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. NBC and her sisters in the corporate propaganda press not only ignored the story but demonized those of us who saw fit to print it.
They didn't just see the story as unimportant, they saw it as an abomination. They accused the Post and others of "promulgating Russian disinformation" for raising the legitimate question of Biden's family entanglements with American adversaries in communist China. They demanded that the story be ignored and buried and only now do we see the real-world ramifications of their malicious neglect.
We now have a president faced with the real possibility of having to mount a diplomatic, economic and maybe even military response to an act of war while he and his family are entangled in long-standing financial dealings with oligarchs connected to the leadership of that very country.
He's compromised. And we are stuck with him in this compromised position because of the corruption of the compromised media who put their systemic hatred for Donald Trump and his voters before their own basic responsibilities as a curious and inquisitive journalistic endeavor.
He is compromised because we have been compromised by a corporate press that is compromised.
We deserve better.
