Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) sounds like a well meaning policy, even downright socially responsible. But, just as the bubonic plague initially presented with a sneeze, DEIA is insidious, infectious, and communicates through a host of bureaucratic fleas.

Federal DEIA policy emanates from the Biden White House. On his first day in office, Biden mandated the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce Policy via Executive Order 13985. Ostensibly, DEIA policy is designed to establish “an ambitious, whole-of-government initiative that will take a systematic approach to embedding DEIA in Federal hiring and employment practices.”

It certainly is ambitious, if you mean militantly aggressive. DEIA is the old Democrat policy of racial quotas rebranded to lull an unsuspecting populace into indifference, while radical LGBTQ+ interests are shuffled in through the back door. In Section 5 of the executive order,  “Data Collection” is mandated, directing the head of each agency to “take a data-driven approach to advancing” DEIA policies.

That means quotas based on immutable characteristics like skin color. Why not reinstitute phrenology and physical anthropology as well?

Purportedly, DEIA policies exist to address the old systemic racism construct, but it’s a trojan horse, hiding radicalized shock troops of. identity politics warriors. Biden has mandated a policy of pure whimsy — the opaquely rolling politics of the LGBTQ+ constituency. It’s anyone’s guess as to the next identity permutation. Perhaps, soon, race itself will be the subject of self-identification experimentation? Is it too early to canonize Rachel Dolezal as the patron saint of the radical identity movement?

Obviously, the policy is pure pander, and has nothing to do with thwarting racism in any substantial way, even if you stipulate to the systemic racism narrative. In fact, policies of preferential treatment always have the opposite effect — they promote animosity, suspicion, and exacerbate racial tensions, by design. The real world objectives of DEIA policies are to populate federal institutions with the most radical elements of American society, and continue to advance the Obama objective of “fundamental transformation.”

“Equity” is a misnomer. Most people conversant in the English language understand “equity” to mean a state of fairness. However, “equity” in the left’s parlance means sameness of outcome. That is the anthesis of equal opportunity, meaning everyone, regardless of race, creed, or color is evaluated by the same, merit based standard.

In DEIA terms, equity means the outcomes are predetermined by quotas (i.e. data collection), selecting for pigmentation, sexual proclivity, and the ephemera of “identity.” Hardly factors designed to construct a competent, capable, and ready cadre to ensure our national security.

Elon Musk understands all of this, posting recently on X, “DEI must DIE. The point was to end discrimination, not replace it with different discrimination.”

As a microcosm of the government-wide institution of DEIA policy, the FBI has become an exemplar of dysfunction. Infamously, the FBI has embroiled itself in a laundry list of outrages (Russia Gate, Hunter Biden’s laptop, FISA and Section 702 abuses, the poorly sourced and written Catholic memo, the J6th investigation v. BLM and ANTIFA rioting, mayhem, and attacks on federal buildings). Biden’s DEIA polices will ensure that the culture of weaponization, rampant at FBI Headquarters will proliferate wildly throughout the agent population.

No agency can properly discharge its national security responsibilities while simultaneously engaging in a program of social experimentation on its workforce. Without a doubt, our adversaries are laughing hysterically. For decades, the U.S. military has been subjected to liberal meddling, all with the aim of degrading our martial capabilities. To what end? To achieve one of the most fantastical and destructive of all liberal tenants — geopolitical parity. The same poison is now coursing through the administrative vascular systems of our federal agencies.

A once constitutionally circumspect FBI agent cadre is being transformed through the insidious effects of woke social policy. My colleague, former Supervisory Special Agent James Gagliano — one of the best minds grappling with the weaponization problem — points to a change in hiring practices which prioritizes recruitment from some of our most liberal institutions of higher learning, or rather indoctrination. DEIA is fundamentally transforming the agent population from one characterized by principled men and women with a high regard for civil liberties, into one obsessed with an ideology of social justice, characterized by a fundamentally ego-centric perspective.

However, this transformation isn’t all a plot by leftwing zealots. Some of the shift is also due to the changing social dynamic — the growing leftist sentiments in American culture. A departure from Judeo-Christian principles drives us further into the clutches of totalitarianism.

Reform must come quickly to the FBI, as well as every other three letter agency, or our democratic republic will be crushed under the boot of radical leftist tyranny. Abolish, dismantle, and defund slogans fail to recognize hard realities. The passion may be sincere in some quarters, but abolishment is a canard; moreover, dead on arrival. Even during the reformative Trump presidency, the intelligence community budget was increased. Not a single three letter agency was abolished.

Moreover, Trump has signaled recently that his intention is to rebuild FBI Headquarters at its current location. Unless he has a radical change of perspective, this seems to rule out the possibility of Trump moving to dismantle the FBI, which could only be undertaken at great expense to taxpayers.

In the private sector, DEIA policies seem to have lost their luster, with Microsoft and Google abandoning the highly discriminatory practice. And, despite the use of DEIA approved euphemisms, even legacy media outlets have been forced to recognize the shift.

Despite official FBI protestations to the contrary, Executive order 13985 MANDATES the prioritization of DEIA recruitment, hiring, and promotion policies. It’s one of the most grave insider threats posed in recent memory. DEIA was enacted via executive order and can be undone by the same means. The bold stroke of Trump’s pen can right this wrong on day one.
