Donald Trump has wisely paused green card and citizenship applications from 19 high-risk countries, with 11 more countries to be added, all to protect American citizens and especially those in uniform who serve our country. If you listen to Jasmine Crockett or Joy Reid or Sunny Hostin however, (and why would anyone?) it is a racist ploy! Indeed, to such lamebrains, Donald Trump, JD Vance, Marco Rubio, Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller and the entire lot of Trump's advisors are racist Nazis.
Such absurd labeling underscores a fundamental truth of American politics: it is Democrats who are at the root of our nation’s racial divide and this has long been so. They know that riling up the black voter base has traditionally worked well come election time.
Predictably, Democrats are most vicious and display their unbarred racism when characterizing right-leaning black Americans or other minority individuals – those who have the temerity to formulate their own opinion. Consider the political hatchet jobs on Larry Elder, Representative Byron Donalds, Harris Faulkner, Ben Carson, Lawrence B. Jones, Leo Terrell, Thomas Sowell, Stephen A. Smith, Shelby Steele, Condoleezza Rice, Allen West, Armstrong Williams, Jason Whitlock, Justice Clarence Thomas, Senator Tim Scott, and Alan Keyes, among legions of others.
Smearing Larry Elder
Larry Elder, an outstanding, well-versed radio talk show host, book author, and columnist, was in the sights of hate-filled Democrats when he became the front-running Republican candidate for the California governorship in 2021. Gavin Newsom somehow held on to his post, but not before Elder endured a shameful display of blatant bigotry led by the Los Angeles Times.
Beyond Erika Smith’s inaccurate, hateful article, “Larry Elder is the Black face of white supremacy. You’ve been warned,” the L.A. Times had the gall to unleash a bevy of smears, slander, and sordid editorials attacking Elder’s character, competence, and credibility. Reporters are entitled to disagree with a political candidate's views but not to employ ad hominem attacks.

Long Term Historical Shame
Starting with Abraham Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation, even a cursory review of history reveals that the Democratic Party has long practiced and still exhibits racist behavior on many levels. Who formed the Confederate States of America? Southern Democrats.
Lincoln, our 16th president, was shot and killed while watching "Our American Cousin" at Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C. This occurred on April 14th, perpetrated in 1865, by John Wilkes Booth. Lincoln was 56 years old, had just been re-elected to his 2nd term and, similar to other Americans, was celebrating the end of the U.S. Civil War, which occurred on April 9th. Wilkes, a leading actor of that era, was sympathetic to the Democrats and their opposition to Lincoln.
Prior to the U.S. Civil War, and then for 27 months following the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, who owned slaves? Democrats. With but a few exceptions, Republicans did not own slaves.
Who lynched nearly 3600 blacks and 1200 white abolitionists? From 1882 to 1968, primarily throughout the South, with the annual peak occurring in the late 1800s, which party acted to enforce white supremacy? In a word: Democrats.
Their Ignominious History
Who created the Ku Klux Klan? "Back in the mid-19th century, various clans in the South acted as a 'strong arm' for many local Democratic politicians..." states Politifact. A Confederate general, "believed to be the KKK's first Grand Dragon even spoke at the 1868 Democratic National Convention." While Democrats didn't launch the KKK, they staunchly supported it.
Who blocked and delayed women's suffrage for 79 years? At all the critical junctures, it was the Democrats. Who upheld segregation throughout the early 1900s, during World War II, and into the 1950s and 1960s? Democrats. Who posted signs that said, "Colored drinking fountain?" Democrats.
Who stood at high school doorways and institutions of higher learning, telling African Americans you may not attend? Democrats. Who interned Japanese Americans for three years during World War II? President Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat.
Segregationists and Assassins
On November 22, 1963 who murdered our 36th president, John F. Kennedy? Lee Harvey Oswald shot and killed JFK in Dallas. Oswald was a Leftist, who viewed communism favorably and espoused Marxist theory. This is explained in detail by Gerald Posner in his book Case Closed. Mr. Posner dislodged every conceivable stone in reaching his conclusion. Nothing in the JFK files released earlier this year overturns Posner's findings.
On April 4th, 1968, James Earl Ray, a segregationist, assassinated MLK in Memphis. Ray, who fled to England, was subsequently captured.
Lincoln, Kennedy, 46, and King, 39, each of whom could expand the rights and acceptance of black Americans, were cut down in their prime by politically Left murderers. Democrats prefer that the above remains unknown, and they want you to somehow exchange their history and prevailing opinions with that of Republicans.
Nice try.
