A year ago, Israelis awoke on a serene October day. None knew that one of the most horrific slaughters in the history of the country would soon occur. The 1191 murders, beheadings, and the number of those burned alive have been documented. What many people don't realize is that based on the size of Israel's population, the October 7th massacre was equal to more than three dozen 9-11s, as experienced by the U.S. in 2001.
Let that sink in?
Yet the pro-Palestinian, pro-Hamas factions in the U.S. and around the world completely ignore the devastation and instead focus only on Israel's response to it. Israel is well within its right to defend itself, seek to free the nearly 100 hostages who remain, secure its borders, and vanquish the offensive capabilities of its adversaries.
No End to the Characterization
Israel has been demonized since its inception. In the Middle East and in other countries where people should know better, Israel today is seen as an apartheid state. This brutal regime spares no expense in decimating Palestinians and others who they see as mortal enemies. The demonization of Israel is so entrenched that tens of thousands of people march on capitals, whether in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, or in cities throughout the U.S.
Demonization is not pretty. It can happen to entire nations, to religions, to ethnic groups, and to individuals. In the U.S., Leftists are particularly adept at demonizing conservative leaders. George W. Bush was called Hitler, although he is a God-fearing man who did his best in service of his country.
Mitt Romney, although he's proved to be a RINO, was demonized by the Left when he ran for president in 2012. Donald Trump has been demonized to a degree that perhaps is unprecedented. Trump's major ‘crime’ before becoming president was converting from Democrat to Republican. Yet, at no time has Trump engaged in behavior that is anywhere near that of Hitler.
It Doesn’t Matter to the Left
Trump did not send our armed forces into wars or skirmishes that he started. He has defended Liberty throughout the land for all Americans while increasing job, education, and apprenticeship opportunities.
None of this matters to the Left. From The New York Times and The Washington Post, ABC, NBC, and CBS, and internet giants, Donald Trump has been demonized to the point where those who are of shaky emotional bearing, in selected cases, have felt compelled to try to assassinate him.
It doesn't matter to those significant media outlets, who constantly demonize him, that Donald Trump is the father of five children who are devoted to him and have openly expressed their love for him. It doesn't matter to these same media sources that he is the grandfather of 10 children who similarly have deep affection for him.
It doesn't matter that his eldest daughter, Ivanka, converted to Judaism after marrying a Jew, and her three children are Jewish. They will call Trump anti-Semitic. It doesn't matter that his companies created more job opportunities for African Americans than any president in history. They will call him racist. It doesn't matter that before he ran for president, he won numerous awards from the NAACP and other organizations for his humanitarianism.
Slings and Arrows
It doesn't matter that he has endured the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, been subject to five bogus lawsuits, or been shot at. The opposition will say that they are for the people and that Donald Trump only cares about his own well-being and that of his billionaire friends.
During the Republican National Convention, when Donald Trump's four-year-old granddaughter sat on his lap as he listened to the presentations, many Americans saw him in a different light. Shortly after that, the demented and hideous Whoopi Goldberg, on the TV show The View, said not to make the mistake of humanizing Trump.
Why would she make such a statement? She knows too well that seeing Trump as a human being and then considering his accomplishments as president will all but ensure his re-election. And so Whoopi Goldberg is twisted as she is, as with so many others who have loud megaphones, continues to blare out anything to demonize Donald Trump.
Resilience Wins
Like the state of Israel, Jews across America, and Jews throughout the world, Donald Trump is pounded by the press every minute of every hour, 24/7/365, for years on end.
Like Jews around the world, he stays resilient. For this reason alone, I will vote for Donald Trump while the Leftists, who are genuinely demons, crumble into ashes.
