Blinken’s Stinking Thinking

Choosing the most confused, incompetent, and foolish among Joe Biden's cabinet secretaries is difficult. Consider Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security, and his nation-destroying border approach, or Janet Yellen, “see no inflation,” Secretary of the Treasury.

No Shortage of Ineffectiveness

Lloyd Austin, Secretary of Defense, and his Afghanistan withdrawal, and Merrick Garland, Attorney General, who leads the nation’s top criminal organization, in a two-way tie with William Burns, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, merit mention.

Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of Transportation, has presided over countless transportation boondoggles. Michael Regan, heading the Environmental Protection Agency, his spotted-owl approach to the environment, and Miguel Cardona, Secretary of Education, who seeks to destroy women’s sports, are worth considering.

Jennifer Granholm, Secretary of Energy, and her green energy madness, and Xavier Becerra, Secretary of Health and Human Services, and his hostility toward babies are in the mix. Then, there’s Antony Blinken, Secretary of State.

Considering some of his predecessors, such as Dean Rusk, Cyrus Vance, George Schultz, and heck, even Madeline Albright, Blinken pales by comparison. Add Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, and Mike Pompeo, and it's doubtful that Blinken could even be an aid to them . Don't get me started about Warren Christopher, Hillary Clinton, or, gulp, John Kerry.

Not Recommended

Blinken might not be our worst Secretary of State in recent times, but he's on the shortlist:

Katie Pavlich: Blinken’s decision to “put the climate crisis at the center of our foreign policy and national security” has proven to be a major and historic mistake.

The late John McCain: “This individual has actually been dangerous to America.” “He has been a functionary and an agent of a U.S. foreign policy that has made the world much less safe today.”

Robert Wright and Connor Echols: “Blinken has agreed with some of the biggest foreign policy mistakes that Biden and Obama made, and he has tended to be more of an interventionist than both of them.”

Might Leads to Right?

When China's Xi Jinping met here with Joe Biden, and Biden referred to Xi as a dictator, Blinken was nonplused. Apparently, we're supposed to know when cruel and barbarous leaders are visiting.

Remember Reagan calling the Soviet Union an evil empire? The Left’s pundits were apoplectic. How could Reagan do this? Yet, Reagan's conviction was inspirational to the people who needed to hear this message. Natan Sharansky, a Soviet dissonant, said that Reagan's foreign policy strongly impacted human rights in the USSR.

Sharansky later became an Israeli cabinet minister. He tells about being in his prison cell in 1983 and seeing the Pravda headline "Evil Empire." "I remember what a burst of enthusiasm this gave us political prisoners,” said Sharansky. “Finally, here was a Western leader willing to call things as they are and expose the true essence of the Soviet Union."

"We dissidents always knew and felt that the most important thing was not to give in to illusions or be deceived by the Soviet Union. And that one day, when the West finally saw the Soviet Union for what it was, there would be hope for victory."

Sharansky remarked that Reagan’s stand ultimately hastened the fall of the Iron Curtain.

Rules for Fools

Today, in continuing to appease our enemies, Antony Blinken is pushing for a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine – an old and questionable approach. Does he know history? Israel was willing to give up land and more for peace. In 2000, Yasser Arafat could’ve sealed a historic Israeli-Palestinian peace and rejected it.

Two states? Once Palestinians can, they’ll wantonly slaughter Israelis, making October 7th look like a kid's backyard pool party. Blinken and Biden, however, want to lay out the rules of war for the Israelis: when and what they must do. Hamas is drooling at such prospects.

Blinken is advocating for fewer civilian deaths and displacements. Mr Blinken, Hamas hides behind civilians! He suggests that Israel finish the job within weeks, not later. Palestinians, meanwhile, glorify martyrs and terrorists. They name public parks, schools, and landmarks after them. The ‘refrigerator bomber,’ who killed 15 Israelis with planted explosives, is hailed as a Palestinian symbol.

A Heartwarming Event

To Palestinians, Jewish death is a heartwarming event. Convinced that Jews are less than human, slaughtering them is part of a holy mission.

Blinken doesn't get this and never will.
