The Harris And Walz Team Keep The Grift Going

How many times can one political team lose? Just once, it turns out. But that one loss does not mean the team goes away or the grift needs to end. As long as there is one sucker out there with a dollar still left on one of their credit cards, there will be a Democrat trying to scam them out of it.

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz suffered humiliating defeats in the election. After such defeats, most candidates disappear, at least for a little while, eventually reemerging in some other role—either reasserting themselves in their old positions (Senators or Governors) or going on a “Hey, remember me?” tour pushing whatever pet project they care about (Al Gore).

What they don’t do is continue to bilk the suckers out of their money; they just go away.

Not Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

Somehow, after earning more than a billion dollars in just over three months, they managed to burn through all of it and more, ending up somewhere near $20 million in debt.

Before we get to that debt, just take a moment to consider how much of a failure you have to be to lose with that much money. With that kind of money for marketing, I feel like I could sell finger food to a germophobic proctologist on duty during a latex shortage, but she could barely win blue states. Laugh at them.

No, back to that debt.

How do you end up with $20 million in debt? You spend like a moron or, if you prefer, a Democrat.

But why hit up average Americans already tapped by your campaign for money they likely can’t afford? Why not hit up Oprah for some of the millions you wasted on her “company” to perform town halls? Maybe call up the celebrities you’d paid millions to see if they could break a bit of that money off to help cover the debt – which is likely owed to small vendors and contractors, as the big guy and the connected, high-paid power brokers always get paid first.

Instead of asking the billionaires who spent fortunes on Super PACs to help make people whole, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz have decided to reach out to the poor and middle-class donors they’d been conning throughout the campaign—once more, to the well they go.

“We need to level with you, Derek,” a fundraising email Sent Saturday opens, “As you read this, Donald Trump is enacting his Project 2025 agenda, nominating his unqualified and power-hungry allies to top Cabinet positions that will threaten everything from public health to public schools.  But here’s some hopeful news: We can do something about it. Grassroots momentum is what kept our movement going throughout the campaign, and it will keep us in this fight for the four years ahead. The hard work and preparation we must do to protect our fundamental freedoms and win in the midterms starts now. But to hold Trump accountable and make sure he and his cronies know what they’re up against, we need you.”

They don’t need me or anyone else. They want people’s money; they’re desperate for it. Their salaries and bonuses depend on it, as they will get a cut of whatever is left over after they pay off the debt.

“With critical decisions about our country’s future being made right now, we can’t get complacent and allow Trump’s lies to go unchecked,” they conclude. “We have to keep up our momentum and tackle these attacks head on. Derek, will you chip in $50 or any amount now to directly power our fight and make sure that we stand up to Trump’s Project 2025 agenda?”

Wow, $50 so someone else can “fight” a battle they’ve already lost and hold someone in check even though starting January 20th, none of these people will have any power or say over anything. Sounds like a bargain, doesn’t it?

Sadly, it’s probably working, at least some. The debt will be paid, suckers will be bilked and these people will get their bonuses because they will not stop milking the cow until it’s dry and dead. They really are gross. Thank God they lost. If they’re this scummy in defeat, just imagine how scummy they would’ve been had they won.
