Reporting on the Mirror – SPORTS ILLUSTRATED
- They are saving even more money now by purging the executives.
It was a couple of weeks back when we reported that Sports Illustrated had been found to be using Artificial Intelligence to write a number of product reviews on its platform. It was discovered because the outlet also had fabricated the writers and their bios, even going so far as to use A.I. photos for the alleged "journalists."
Well, after this fiasco, there have been a number of firings at the upper levels. Last week, a number of top executives were let go, and now the announcement has been made from the parent company that CEO Ross Levinsohn has also been fired.

Look, we know this is Taylor Lorenz, and that few people listen to what she has to say. But even so, this is some hilarity of the highest order. She is actually trying to sell the concept that The New York Times only allows political opinions from its writers if they are "right-wing opinions."
The New York Times. She said that…about THE NEW YORK TIMES!
This is the paper that forced out Bari Weiss because she was sometimes too conservative – which amounted to her sometimes saying things that were slightly right of center. This is the paper that had a thorough internal meltdown and a worker revolt over daring to print a column by Republican Senator Tom Cotton.
Making this all the more funny is Lorenz making another comment recently. She tried to claim that she has always been for free expression on social media. This is the same woman seen in The Twitter Files who had direct access to Twitter executives and could have them strike down posts she took issue with on the platform.

Artisanally-Crafted Media – USA TODAY
- This nutty, wacky phenomenon called "the seasons."
This is what happens when you are so married to a concept that you cannot shake loose from it, regardless of how much logic you are bludgeoned with in the process. Now it is winter, and get this – according to USA Today, things are expected to get colder!
The only thing more "weird" is trying to insist that mankind can actually control the weather.
The weather is getting cold. Global warming is still making weather weird. https://t.co/mT3exSTDwE

Legalized Press-titution – THE HILL
In a gushing op-ed on Joe Biden, John Kenneth White tries to defend the president from the jokes made about his age. What Mr. White fails to address are the concerns we are witnessing about Biden's age. He tries selling the concept of Biden being possessed with "unrivaled experience and wisdom."
I think anyone is correct to question the "wisdom" aspect after they heard Joe's meandering speeches and inability to ever know which way he should walk after concluding a presser. But as for experience, sure – that is legitimate. But when you tell most people a politician has been in politics for over half a century, the reaction is not awe and wonderment, it is likely to elicit a response like, "Holy hell, it is time to get that fixture OUT of Washington!"
