There have been many adaptations of that famous line, including Mel Brooks' movie “Blazing Saddles.” Speaking of a movie that would certainly be a victim of cancel culture these days, “Blazing Saddles” would be a top candidate. When I think of the latest absurd kabuki theater touring Washington, DC, the aforementioned line comes to mind. It is evident that Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer want us to believe that we need border legislation to secure the border. Unfortunately, they have co-opted Republicans, like Oklahoma Senator James Lankford, as tools – Lenin called them “useful idiots” – to advance this absurdity. Truth be told, we all know we don't need no stinkin' border legislation.
When Joe Biden came into office in January 2021, all was as well as it could be along our southern border. The levels of engagement with illegal immigrants were at record lows. We had ended the "catch and release" programs and instituted a “Remain in Mexico” policy. The transnational narco-criminal terrorists were not flush with billions of dollars in cash. What was Joe Biden's response? Yep, he issued some 30 Executive Orders to unconstitutionally unravel our border. Now, three years later, in 2024, we have over 8 million who have entered our Republic illegally. We have hundreds of thousands, or more, of single military-aged males illegally in our country, including tens of thousands from China. We have seen record after record for engagements with illegal immigrants. The most notable was December of 2023. No, these are not migrants, they are illegal immigrants.
We have experienced hundreds of thousands of deaths of Americans due to the free flow of the deadly drug fentanyl, exported from China to the cartels. We have a disturbing crisis of human and sex trafficking, and it involves children. Further, we now can affirmatively assert that we have a terrorist trafficking issue since there are some 2 million so-called "gotaways" who have infiltrated these United States.
None of this happened because of a change in legislation. It all happened because one man decided he would not abide by his oath to uphold the laws of the Constitution. So, why do Joe Biden and Kamala Harris want us to believe that we need more legislation to resolve an issue that they created? Last week we heard Biden crow that if Congress would pass border legislation, then he would be able to secure the border. Huh? This is not a matter of allocating more money. It is a policy decision that the progressive socialist left wanted. I remember during the Trump administration the black-clad Antifa group marched in Washington, DC with the rallying cry, "No borders, no walls, no USA at all.” That is not about new legislation, that is all about a dedicated ideological agenda to fundamentally transform this nation.
Now that the border situation has become the top issue of the 2024 election, the Democrats must seek out a scapegoat, thus creating this charade about needing new border legislation and forcing the Republicans into a "bipartisan" agreement, or else blame them for what we have done. This reminds me of the story of the window repair man in French economist Frederic Bastiat's essay The Law. At night, the window repair man would go about the city breaking windows, only to show up the following day to lend his ability to repair what he had broken. Joe Biden and the leftists broke our border. They have undermined our national sovereignty and security, and instead of accepting responsibility and correcting their error, they have created the Trojan Horse of needing more legislation to fix what they broke.
Republicans have to stop being the party of stupid and allowing the Party of the Jackass to kick them around. There should be a press conference with every single Capitol Hill Republican and the message should be simple.
We don't need no stinkin' border legislation!
Joe Biden has all the power necessary in the Constitution of these United States to secure the border. It was his willful, intentional, and purposeful policy decisions that have placed our nation at risk. It is Joe Biden who has enriched the cartels. Joe Biden has the blood of Americans on his hands for fentanyl deaths. Joe Biden has the blood of countless individuals who have died seeking to illegally enter America, as well as the raping of young girls and women. Joe Biden is aiding and abetting human and sex trafficking. Joe Biden has enabled the mass infiltration of military-age males into this country at a time when he wants to disarm Americans. Joe Biden singularly dismantled our border security, and it is his constitutional duty and responsibility to rectify the situation. Republicans did not make securing the border an election issue, Joe Biden made it an issue that is affecting every corner of this nation.
It is Joe Biden who has only once been to the US southern border in his presidency, and the Border Czarina has only been to a port of entry in El Paso. Both are guilty of crimes against humanity as well as treason and no stinkin' border legislation changes that.
Let's stop being mindless lemmings who listen to what these charlatans are trying to sell. The bottom line is that the Democrats – Marxists – got what they wanted, open borders. Now it is backfiring against them politically, the media can no longer cover for them. If we are dumb enough as a nation to reelect these traitors, then we get what we deserve, be it Biden, Newsom, Michelle Obama, or any of them.
So, here's your call to action: call, text, email the White House, the US Senate, and US House of Representatives and give them a simple message: "We don't need no stinkin' border legislation."
