Both the left and Islamic supremacists arrive at the same endpoint: hatred of the West, Israel, and all things we hold good and dear.
October means baseball playoffs are here. Imagine a World Series with the high-spending New York Yankees going against an opponent with the lowest salary in all of baseball. The difference in salaries paid annually is well in excess of $100 million, but in the end, both teams have made it to the final stop of the season: the World Series. How could such different approaches lead to the same outcome?
When one considers the Western left marching lockstep with Islamic supremacists, he could ask how such different birds could flock together. Just some of the differences between members of the two groups include:
*Leftists generally do not believe in God or religion; a Muslim claims that all of his actions—however violent or destructive—are based on religious obligations in the service of Allah.
*Leftists accept all forms of sexual differences—homosexuality, trans, etc. The Muslims reject all of the above and look forward to throwing their present partners off of the nearest tall building.
*Leftists wish to undo the fabric of the West and replace it with a communist alternative. The Muslims wish to destroy the West and replace it with a Sharia state.
*The leftists hate Israel and the Jews as colonizers and victimizers. The Muslims hate the Jews because of religious texts that encourage such hatred.
There is no question that the present joining of Western leftists and Islamic fanatics at universities and on the streets of major Western capitals is a marriage of convenience. The leftists are so enamored with their new keffiyeh-wearing friends and their stories from the front lines of fighting Zionists that they are oblivious to the fact that when the time comes and the Muslims no longer need their nose-pierced, blue-haired friends, they will minimally abandon them and maximally kill them as blasphemous garbage. The Muslims mean what they say about killing homosexuals but keep their knives and elevators unused because they need the clueless lefties to increase their mass and give them credibility. A bunch of angry Arabs running around does not have the same punch as when there are lily-white suburban students play-acting Hamas membership with them.
The question is how two groups so different—religious and anti-religious, Madras-trained and Western educated—get to the same conclusions on Jews, Israel and the West. One would expect that people with such different backgrounds and with such different lives and ideological goals would have nothing in common. But for a year now they have been marching with the same genocidal banners, disrupting university activities, and destroying property hand in hand. The questions are why and how did we get here?
There are ultimately two types of education. One is indoctrination or brain-washing. A student is told ideas, information, “facts” and is not allowed to deviate from that which he is served, if he wishes to stay in the larger group as a member in good standing. The second form of education guides but also encourages one to question, ask, and look for answers when none are provided. Most of you reading these lines have never been in a yeshiva. One can watch two students go on for hours on a very short section of Talmud to determine what the proper ruling is. There is no limitation on sources and the goal is to get to the truth. Such is not the case in modern Western education or in Islamic training. I had a student at Harvard in a chemistry section who was given a C+ on a paper in which she addressed everything required. Why did she get such a low grade? In place of writing a dry, boring report, she submitted a question and answer between David Letterman and the molecule in question. The professor was not amused.
Our Western students and Islamic youth can join forces because both have been brainwashed through years of straightjacket education. In the West, teachers from grade school through university teach students that whites and Jews are victimizers, while all others are victims. Anyone who dares question the validity of the material presented will be given low grades, ostracized, and otherwise punished if they do not toe the official line. In the Islamic schools throughout the Middle East, the approach is the same. Anyone who does not accept the official religious teaching demonizing Jews and by extension the West will find himself in trouble and possible personal danger. One convert to Judaism who grew up in Gaza remembers a head rolling into his class of someone who had violated Sharia law by listening to Western music and was punished by Hamas enforcers. The discouragement of creativity and independent thinking is the major reason why Islamic countries have contributed almost nothing to the scientific and technical progress of mankind for the past few hundred years. Israel has more Nobel laureates than all of the countries around it and around them.
Those in the West who somehow overcome the brainwashing education they received and begin to ask questions, doubt accepted media narratives and heaven forbid start to support Trump and the Republicans will find themselves maligned endlessly. Blacks who identify as conservatives are always denigrated in the press as being Uncle Toms or traitors to the black cause. Eight years ago, I doubt that people like Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr. could have moved towards supporting Donald Trump. They would have been attacked on all sides—from the media, their supporters, and online trolls. One of the many reasons Donald Trump is hated by our supposed “elite” is that he is seen as a traitor to his class: he should be like the other billionaires who want an open border, DEI, and all of the other disastrous policies from which their money can shield them.
Muslim extremists and Western lefties have a joint agenda driven by their rigid ideological training. They are both trained over years to hate Jews and Israel and blame both for the abject failure of Palestinians and other Muslim groups in the Middle East. Palestinian kleptocracy and failed states like Syria and Lebanon are ignored and Israel is blamed for their problems. One of the many activities that Republicans must address should they win next month is the state of education that can yield so many brainwashed, highly-educated idiots.
The U.S. needs to deport Muslim immigrants who are in any way in violation of their visas. Schools that let antisemitism run rampant should have their federal funding canceled and their endowments taxed. These people focus their venom on Israel but wish to destroy the U.S. and the West as well. There is no mitzvah to commit national suicide. The time has come for the West to play offense with these zealots who wish to destroy the most open and free countries in the world.
