During an interview with CNN this week, White House Senior Economic Advisor and Director of the National Economic Council Brian Deese said the quiet part out loud after being asked about President Joe Biden's painful and harmful energy policies.

"What do you say to those families that say, 'Listen, we can't afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years?'" the anchor asked.

"This is about the future of the liberal world order, and we have to stand firm," Deese responded.

Ah, a new "liberal world order." Sounds similar to the World Economic Forum's touting of "Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better" just a few years ago.

Some research into Deese's economic philosophy, and that of his colleagues on the National Economic Council, shows his statement is hardly surprising.

"Biden has stacked his Council of Economic Advisers with three labor economists whose focus is on workers, not just markets: Jared Bernstein, who was most recently senior fellow at the left-leaning Center on Budget and Policy Priorities; Heather Boushey, a founder of the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, which focuses on inequality; and Cecilia Rouse, who left her post as a dean at Princeton to serve in the administration. This is the team pushing Biden not to kowtow to fearmongering about deficits and inflation," the leftwing outlet the New Republic writes.

Biden, who lied to the country when he ran for office as a "moderate," has an NEC packed with Bernie Sanders-type socialists. In the 1980s, Sanders, now the Senate Budget Committee Chairman, argued government bread lines were a sign of economic progress.

"Sometimes American journalists talk about how bad a country is because people are lining up for food. That's a good thing," Sanders said.

Deese's latest admission, which was more of a purposeful statement of intention than a Freudian slip, once again proves that the pain is the point.

What exactly does a "liberal world order' mean for American families? It means they'll be poorer, own nothing and fail to prosper. Much like socialism and communism in other parts of the world, misery will be an end to justify the left's means. It's also part of President Joe Biden's forced transition away from oil and gas, the lifeblood of the U.S. economy. Biden's alternative energy agenda isn't about saving the planet. It's about government control and a redistribution of America's wealth to the rest of the world.

"[When] it comes to the gas prices, we're going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it's over, we'll be stronger and the world will be stronger," Biden told reporters in May.

He's right about one thing. The world's corrupt, elitist and leftist politicians will be stronger while the globe's people suffer immensely. We saw it just this week when Biden rejected a proposal to turn crops currently being used for biofuel into food as many countries face food shortages and famine.

"Joe Biden will on Monday attempt to block Boris Johnson's plan to move away from green fuels amid a transatlantic split over how to tackle the global cost of living crisis. Mr Johnson will address G7 leaders at a summit in Germany and ask them to repurpose land currently used for crop-based biofuels to grow more food," the UK Telegraph reported earlier this week.

"The Prime Minister believes using less green fuel would dampen soaring food prices and help avert famines in poorer countries that rely heavily on Ukrainian grain blockaded in ports by Russia. "However, Mr Biden's officials made it clear on Sunday that Washington will attempt to block the plans in a bid to protect US farmers and avoid jeopardising climate commitments."

According to those pushing for a new liberal world order through an energy transition, people may starve to death — but again — for them, the ends justify the means.

Most Americans are still rugged individuals who don't fit into the brave new world Biden, Deese and their ilk desire. The "liberal world order" is a globalist, anti-American plan that should be rejected. Come November, I have a feeling voters will do exactly that and reestablish their sovereignty.
