Why I'm Saying Yes to Four More Years of President Trump

It’s an easy yes for me – a yes to four more years of Donald J. Trump as commander in chief. I know it’s an easy yes for tens of millions of patriotic Americans, too.

I’m saying yes to the great American comeback, built upon one of the strongest economies the world has ever seen. Under President Trump, our nation's unemployment levels reached historic lows with the employment levels at historic highs. And this wasn’t just for a select few – it was for every single demographic in our country. Wages went up, jobs were brought back from overseas, and trade deals were implemented to hold China accountable and put Americans first. And yes, while our nation has had to battle through the COVID-19 pandemic, we are recovering faster than ever thought possible because of the strong economic foundation we have thanks to President Trump.

I’m saying yes to peace through strength. Former President Barack Obama weakened our foreign policy position on the world stage taking the United States on an eight-year apology tour. But what did President Trump do instead? He stood with our allies and stood up to our adversaries. He moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and stood shoulder to shoulder with Israel. He implemented sanctions on Russia and put pressure on European countries to get their energy from America instead of living day in and day out wondering if the spigot would be turned off by the Russian regime. President Trump ushered in a new era of peace by brokering three new middle east peace deals – deals that haven’t been seen in decades.

I’m saying yes to a strong military that has been rebuilt after years of neglect by the Obama administration. President Trump supports our servicemembers and ensures they are prepared for any threat that might come our way. The ISIS caliphate was destroyed and al-Baghdadi and Soleimani were eliminated. President Trump also honors our nation’s heroes – our veterans – and ensures we follow through on our promises to support them in civilian life after service.

I’m saying yes to strong borders. It’s great to have a president who understands that border security is national security. President Trump has built over 400 miles of border wall to help stop the flow of illegal border crossings, human trafficking, and drug cartels. He has empowered Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement to do their jobs and enforce the laws of the land.

I’m saying yes to law and order and yes to backing the men and women in blue. In recent months, we have seen American cities burn as Democrat mayors, governors, and district attorneys align themselves with the radical defund-the-police movement. These local officials have decided to side with the most radical elements within their party while President Trump has stood with law enforcement. Under the leadership of President Trump, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has arrested over 300 rioters in 29 states on charges ranging from attempted murder and arson, to burglary and destruction of property.

I’m saying yes to the sanctity of life. President Trump has been one of the most pro-life presidents in American history. He has stood with the unborn and implemented policies to ensure taxpayer dollars don’t fund abortions at home or abroad. While there is still work left to do, I know the president is committed to protecting the unborn and the future generations of Americans. Our nation must stand against the atrocity of abortion.

I’m saying yes to energy independence. No longer do we need to rely on foreign adversaries for our energy needs. President Trump has made it a priority to increase American energy production so we can be self-sufficient, decrease energy costs for Americans, and help our allies lessen their dependence on hostile countries while simultaneously leading the world in emissions reductions.

I’m saying yes to strict constitutionalists on the bench. I’m saying yes to more Justices like Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. A key cornerstone of the Trump campaign is to put constitutionalists on the federal courts – not activist policymakers pretending to be jurists. The Democrats want the courts to be a leftist super-legislature, and President Trump has stopped them in their tracks by putting the Constitution and the laws of our nation first.

I’m saying yes to health care freedom and lower costs, school choice no matter your zip code, and the list goes on. President Trump has done all of this and more in the face of a Democrat-led sham impeachment, a fake Russian collusion hoax, and a national mainstream media that has made it their job to try and take him down.

President Trump didn’t need this job – but he did it for the American people because he saw a need for a promises made, promises kept president. He has done more for our country in 47 months than Joe Biden did in 47 years in government. It’s truly astounding.

Now, we’re at a crossroads in history between freedom and socialism. Elections are all about choices, and this upcoming election is no different. As a country, we must ask ourselves, do we want to spend the next four years going down a path of lawlessness, bigger government, and economic stagnation? Or will we choose the path of law and order, limited government, and economic opportunity?

In normal times, most Americans would overwhelmingly choose the latter, but I’m afraid the mainstream media’s bias against President Trump and Republicans is causing some voters to lose focus on what’s actually on the ballot this Election Day. That’s why laying out President Trump’s historic record is important.

President Trump has kept his word, fought against the swamp, and delivered results for the forgotten men and women of America who are forgotten no more.

We need four more years of President Donald J. Trump. Our prosperity depends on it.
