Michael J. Hout is a former Democrat activist who left the party in 2017 and recounted his decision in a Washington Post op-ed. A National Journalism Center alum, he was active in Democratic politics from 2013 to 2017, serving as National Chartering Director of College Democrats of America, President of the College Democrats at UMass Amherst, and briefly as a motorcade driver for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign. He now works as a communications strategist and is building the conservative site Liberty Affair, with work also appearing in Visegrad24.
