Normally I HATE to see the president of the United States bowing to foreign dignitaries, signaling a submissive American stance.

Today, Barack Obama bowed to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie:

Though the political symbolism of this picture just tickles me, I still firmly believe the officeholder of the American presidency should not be going around acting like this. I'm also beginning to wonder if Barack Obama has an affliction of some sort...

Even though Christie is AWESOME, in honor of the Office of the President, I have to condemn this.

Actually, I've been doing purchasing for decades now, and what I'm seeing is the "Work the people you have to death stage" of recovery. That comes right before the "hiring new people because there's too much work" stage. Every vendor I have is busy, and much of my work day is spent making sure they meet deadlines. (as opposed to last year, when so many of them were idle they were happy to take whatever I would send them.)

have a question for you. It's 2012. Unemployment has shrunk back to 7%. (which was good enough to get Reagan re-elected) We are out of Iraq, mostly out of Afghanistan, GDP growth is up and the Dow is at 15,000. (And don't give me the TIRED explanations about WHY that's not going to happen.)

About death/religion. Our bodies die because we get sick and age, we get sick and age because of original sin. Don't choose to believe this, fine by me. Mock God? Certainly is your choice. I guess that rumor about Obama being a pedophile and secretly having sex with animals as well could be taken as just a rumor as well. I mean, do we really know if that happened. I'm just not sure.

Instead, the Bush record was

2 Recessions, including the worst recession in 80 years.
Loss of a major city and 1000 lives due to inept management of Katrina.
A war on Iraq based on a LIE.- 4500 died for nothing.
A War in Afghanistan to get Bin Laden, which was ignored to the point where it is now essentially unwinnable....

But let's say there is one poll out there that says Palin is running even, even though every other poll shows her running well behind (some by double digits.) So what?

It should be pointed out that if I was going by polls in 2007, the 2008 election would have been a contest between Hillary Clinton and Rudy Guiliani. McCain was toast and Obama was an obscure guy running third behind Clinton and Edwards.

That joke is on Obama. Christie is taking care of his economic problems and bringing the state back to solvency. Maybe BHO was really going there to learn how to do things right? Lets hope so.

What Congress and the WH need to do is get out of the way of small business. They keep making it harder to get anything done. Its how they create their own workload. I will probably spend about 10 hours plus this next week placating govt mandates and public employees.

Its as if we all are working for them some days. That's not the point of "public"...
