I regard my comment: "a residual *attribute", *Attribute being a quality or positive strength, a characteristic: because it riled (awakened) a passion to right a wrong.

That is precisely why I loved Glenn's show. The guests were/ARE ME. They endeavored and did rise above every single, potentially crippling disadvantage. They achieved, via passion, tenacity, and a firm resolve to prevail, NOT FAIL, and soooo did I :-).

I think Sowell is brilliant. Everyone should read his books on economics which are written in plain language that everyone can easily understand.

I also watched Beck's show but ended up tuning into another channel. I did not see that much conservatism. Victimization seemed to be more the theme.

That title Obama money kept coming up. Obama money unfortunately is our tax money.

Although I watch Beck often, I did not see much point to this one.

Education is the key so if you listen to the tapes the ACORN workers advise Giles and O'Keefe not to educate the child prostitutes.

If you can read you know what your signing therefore understand where, when and how the governemnt gets its funding.

You think that blacks can't have conservative views - that of personal responsibility and limited government. Wrong, my friend. They are just as able and capable as anyone else of escaping that victimhood that you want to keep them collared with.

When others see these hard working blacks telling their stories, others can be inspired to shake off those shackles you, Lonny, place them in and make a better life for themselves.

Bravo to Glenn Beck for bringing this to all of us. We need more of it.

Saw the entire show and it was great! I hope he does more of that venue, not just with Blacks and Women, but with any other so-called "minority" that the Left loves to make the "victim". Maybe he should bring in a group of Kool Aid drinking Lefties and let them rant for all the world to see on his show. What a hoot that would be! What was extraordinary about Glenn's show was that all his guests saw clearly in their youth that education was key and that the government was not going to enslave them into a life of dependency. Now they are well educated, successful Americans who definitely have there heads on straight.
