Jeb Enlists Help From Brother in Fundraising Plea

Former Gov. and Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush may be doing all he can to distance himself from his brother on a policy level, insisting he's his "own man," but politically, it seems he’s ready to solicit help from the former president.

“I rarely send emails like this, but I wanted to make sure I asked for your support on behalf of my brother, Jeb,” Bush wrote in a fundraising email to Jeb’s supporters Thursday morning. “This is a consequential time in our nation’s history, and we need a strong leader. Jeb took on tough challenges as Florida’s Governor and delivered results. I know he will do the same as President.”

Bush then went on to ask supporters to consider donating to Jeb’s campaign given that he’s got a “tough road ahead.”

Maybe Jeb’s change of heart about distancing himself from his brother has something to do with this.
