U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was hospitalized during her current visit to Rome, according to the AFP, which reported she felt '"slightly unwell."'

"The Italian-American [D]emocrat was forced to cancel her meeting with La Russa and postpone the one with Fini. She is undergoing tests in Rome's Umberto I hospital, the agencies said."

Regardless of her political views, we wish her the best results possible and pray for her health.

UPDATE: Pelosi has been released, no mention of anything long term in the AP update.
