‘Gosnell’ Book Becomes Top Seller on Amazon Ahead of March for Life

‘Gosnell’ Book Becomes Top Seller on Amazon Ahead of March for Life

UPDATE: Gosnell author Ann McElhinney will be on "The Rush Limbaugh Show" Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. ET.

***Original Post***

Authors and filmmakers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney are doing their best to make sure Americans know who Kermit Gosnell is.

Gosnell is a late-term abortionist who ran a filthy abortion clinic in Philadelphia. Worse than his clinic’s unsanitary conditions, though, is how Gosnell treated his patients and the babies he aborted. He pressured young women to have abortions even when they were having second thoughts. He reportedly just stood idly by as one of his patients died from an overdose of anesthesia. Upon entering his clinic, authorities found that he snipped babies’ necks, even those who were still alive, and kept their feet in jars.

He was able to get away with all of these horrors because the Pennsylvania Department of Health did not inspect the facility for years.

Gosnell's luck ran out when he was finally arrested and brought to court. He is now serving life in prison.

The media, unfortunately, did not give this story the coverage it demanded. That’s where McAleer and McElhinney come in. The two started an IndieGoGo page to crowdfund a movie about Gosnell. Americans responded and broke the website’s fundraising records. The movie has wrapped filming and is expected to be released sometime later this year.

The filmmakers wrote a book in conjunction with the film. As of Wednesday, Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer has claimed the No. 3 spot on Amazon under “Best Sellers” and No. 1 among “Hot New Releases.”

The authors appeared on The O’Reilly Factor Tuesday to discuss the grisly Gosnell case.

Christine and I will be interviewing the authors on Friday morning, just before the March for Life begins. Stay tuned for our conversation.
