Open Thread: The Donald Hosts SNL

It was announced last month that businessman-turned-reality-tv-host-turned-GOP-presidential-candidate Donald Trump would be hosting the November 7 episode of Saturday Night Live. Well folks, that day has arrived, and show is set to begin at 11:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC. (A live stream can be found here)

Obviously, Trump's appearance on the show is not without controversy. My colleague Cortney wrote earlier about a group that is offering money to anyone who will disrupt the show, and other questions have arisen regarding if it is ethical for a network to give a presidential candidate this kind of platform.

Anyhow, if you're tuning in, feel free to discuss your thoughts below. I'll have a full review of the episode up after it airs.
