Washington Schedule Today

Two items will probably dominate the news today: 1) Obama's 11am economic speech in which he will paint a grim picture of the nation's financial state to gain support for his $1 trillion spending plan and 2) Tom Daschle will testify before the Senate about his plans to carry out Obama's desire to provide public health insurance for all Americans.

Those are the two things I'm watching today.
