WATCH: Gov. Brewer Explains Why Trump's Presser With Bill Clinton Accusers Was 'Absolutely' Fair

St. Louis, MO - In a crazy post-debate spin alley in Washington University Sunday night, Townhall had a chance to get some face-to-face time with former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, an early Donald Trump surrogate. She sounded off to me and a local reporter about the biased moderating, noting that she checked her stopwatch and the number of interruptions for Trump versus Clinton was wholly unfair.

She also weighed in on the surprise press conference Trump held with four of Bill Clinton's alleged victims just a few hours ahead of the former's showdown with Hillary, giving them a chance to speak out about Clinton's inappropriate behavior. The four women - Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick and Kathy Shelton - were also invited to Sunday's debate. Pundits surmised Trump held the presser to try and defer some of the negative media he's received for the recently uncovered 2005 audio recording of him speaking about women in a lewd manner. Was it fair for him to hold the event?

It was "absolutely" fair, Brewer said. "They have been silenced by the Clinton regime for years and Donald gave them a voice."

(The relevant exchange with the governor comes around the 3:35 mark. My apologies for the rough video, I am a Facebook Live amateur. However, if you're interested in whether I survived the spin room, please watch to the end!)
