We are a single organic and connected unit. One olive tree, one Lord, one Baptism.

Christianity IS inclusive. Christ died to redeem ALL men. Nobody is left out who wants to be 'in'. Jesus Himself stated that He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. NOBODY gets to the Father in heaven apart from Him, John 14.6. One is baptised into the faith, never indoctrinated....

I agree that in the Old Testament King David shows repentance. But that does not show he was secretly (very secretly) a Christian. It shows that one does not have to be a Christian to show repentance.

As I said, stories of repentance cross all religious traditions. If you want to count all religions as secretly Christian, or partially Christian, then you undercut the argument that Woods needs to find Christ to gind repentance.

There is a theological tradition of an inclusive Christianity. But it is funny seeing it appealed to in order to defend an exclusive version of Christianity.

Then it is not clear why Woods should change religion since he can get his repentance through Buddhism.

I think there is something silly about Christianity taking credit for the good things that happened before it came about (but oddly not the bad things) but once one goes in that direction one loses the exclusivity of Christianity.

Biblically there is an understanding of what was happening before Christ's birth. God has known about every single belief and movement since he invented hte world, so Buddhism, Atheism, Paganism, mythology, all happened within God's time and since Christ came in God's time, which is all time, Christianity has always existed. Prior to Christ's birth they awaited his coming and after his birth the world was given teh knowledge of God's plan for us.

NOBODY is shoving Christianity in anyone's face these days forcibly, unlike the anti-Christianity and Islamic Jihad and all the other 'isms that routinely insist on FORCED apologies and lawsuit for their being offended.
