Armed Texan Intervenes in Mugging

An armed citizen took action this week when a mother of two was being dragged across a parking lot in an attempted mugging. The stranger pulled his concealed handgun on the would-be robbers and held them on the ground at gunpoint until the police arrived.

Surveillance cameras outside the Family Dollar store in Houston captured the entire scene:

The Houston Police department arrested both suspects,who were later identified as Shamarion Diana Brooks, 34, and Jesse Leroy Grace, 48. In addition to the charges they face for attempted robbery, Brooks was charged with possession of unlawful substances and Grace for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The man who stopped the crime remains anonymous.
