In a rare cable news appearance, Joe Biden joined former Clinton aide George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America to discuss COVID-19. Biden deemed President Trump’s response to COVID-19 “incompetent” and pushed back on claims that he himself is hiding from the press.

The former vice president told Stephanopoulos that his campaign is “winning” the election by shielding Biden from the public:
“Well we're on the campaign trail now. Everybody says, you know, Biden's hiding. Well let me tell you something, we're doing very well. We're following the guidelines of the medical professionals, we're following the guidelines of the experts, of the Dr. Fauci's of the world. We're doing very well. Matter of fact, we're winning, if you're looking at all the polling data.”
Biden even sided with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), a regime that has notoriously covered up the severity of COVID-19 at the origin of the virus, and continues to lie about death tolls. In an attempt to attack the Trump Administration, Biden falsely claimed that the United States has the most COVID-19 cases, worldwide:

Off of the topic of COVID-19, Stephanopoulos pressed Biden on the Department of Justice’s recent decision to drop charges against former National Security Advisor Gen. Michael Flynn. Under the leadership of disgraced former FBI Director James Comey, Gen. Flynn was entrapped in an investigation by the Obama-era intelligence community on account of suspicions of collusion with Russia. Biden claimed that he had no knowledge of the botched, politically motivated investigation, but had already previously admitted to being present in a January 2017 Oval Office meeting on the subject.
"I know nothing about those moves [by the FBI] to investigate Michael Flynn," Joe Biden claimed.

Reminded he was in a January 5, 2017, Oval Office meeting with President Obama and the FBI Director about investigating Flynn, Biden admits "I was aware... but that's all I know." pic.twitter.com/SImLNoqhd7
To avoid questions about what he and President Obama may have known about the FBI’s inquiry, Biden claimed that the Department of Justice dropped the charges against Gen. Flynn in order to “divert” from the Trump Administration’s handling of COVID-19.
Stephanopoulos also addressed the allegations of sexual misconduct against Biden from Tara Reade. Biden has received criticism for pivoting on the way to handle allegations, from “believe women” for others who have been accused, to calling Reade a liar in his own case. The former vice president contended that what Reade claims happened in 1993 is false:
