An MSNBC correspondent explained that Obama has a special influence during the US-Africa summit, because “he was born in Kenya”. In all fairness, she was probably just confused because so many people call him a Keynesian.
While speaking at the US/-Africa summit, Obama made sure to mention that “we still have problems with humanitarian rights” here in the USA… Does anyone else think he sounds slightly out of touch here? This is like Mike Bloomberg telling a homeless guy that he knows what it’s like not to have exact change for a Starbucks.
An official with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (George Orwell called – he wants his royalty check) has been accused of hiding information from Freedom of Information requests. He, apparently, didn’t want to comply with the FOIA; because some animals are more equal than others.
Hamas is holding a “victory” rally in Gaza, where they are celebrating their “victory” over Israel. Inigo Montoya probably said it best: “You keep using that word… I do not think it means what you think it means.”
Robert Redford is suing New York State over his tax bill… Being a hypocritical liberal is pretty tough work sometimes.
