Pelosi: Keeping Dem Majority in November is "Too Important" to the Country

In an interview with "Newshour with Jim Lehrer" that will air this evening, The Hill reports that Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she has no intention of losing her Democrat majority in the House.  In fact, the Speaker notes, the Dem majority is "too important"to the country for us to lose.

Apparently under the impression we are all a bunch of hapless imbeciles, Pelosi says our lives depend on the Democrat majority:
"I’ve said if passing this bill means I have to walk out of my office that night, it would be with the greatest pride... But I haven’t any intention of losing the Democratic majority," the speaker added. "It’s too important to the country; it’s too important to the lives of the American people. We are there for them."
HA!  This is typical liberal mentality.  On the contrary, it's too important for this country for them to stay in office.  So kindly do us a favor and tell your colleagues to pack their bags, Madame Speaker.
