Today's Washington Post features an article entitled, "Obama's Many Policy 'Czars' Draw Ire From Conservatives," which examines the history of executive-appointed czars. Though estimates vary, the Post points out that President Obama now has at least 30 "czar" positions--of which only 12 existed prior to his administration.

Not only has Obama more than doubled the number of czar figures, he has also excluded all but one of these newly formed offices from Senate confirmation. Click the image below to enlarge:
