Okay, so what did Robby Mook know and when did he know it? Mook, Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016 campaign manager, said he didn’t know anything about the Trump dossier, which was an opposition research project funded by Democrats and the Hillary Clinton campaign. Here’s what he said in 2017 (via Washington Examiner):
Robby Mook, Hillary Clinton’s former campaign manager, said he was unaware who funded the so-called “Trump dossier,” which contains scandalous and unverified material on Trump's ties to Russia, amid reports that Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid the firm that eventually hired the dossier's author.
"I didn't know that we were paying the contractor that created that document," Mook told CNN's Anderson Cooper…
"When we started to look into Donald Trump's business dealings, it was this massive tree of LLCs and shell companies,” he added. “We were overwhelmed, we were on it, frankly.”

Yeah, well, now, we’re getting reports that Marc Elias, the Democratic lawyer who retained the services of Fusion GPS, who then hired ex-MI6 spook Christopher Steele to collect dirt on Trump, said he gave Mook receipts from Fusion. Journalist Paul Sperry went on a lengthy Twitter thread, not only alleging the receipts but also that Steele directly gave the FBI multiple reports on the whole Trump-Russia angle.
We’ll see what happens here, but if all pans out, we have pretty solid evidence that there wasn’t Trump-Russia collusion, but Clinton-Russia collusion with multiple assists from the FBI to meddle in the 2016 election. The dossier was the core of this nonsensical narrative that spawned an FBI counterintelligence probe into the presidential campaign of a rival political party. It was cited as credible evidence to secure a FISA spy warrant against a former member of the Trump campaign, Carter Page, and spawned Crossfire Hurricane, a spying operation in which operatives under false pretenses tried to glean information from Trump officials in 2016. And you’re going to tell me that’s not election meddling, fueled by Russian misinformation no less. And then, after Trump shocked the world, you have soon-to-be-ex-President Obama having meetings in the Oval in the weeks leading up to the inauguration to give marching orders on how to proceed concerning protecting the FBI’s Trump-Russia clown show, even going so far as to possibly make moves to prevent the Trump White House from ever knowing about it.
The deep state plot against this president was always big; there are scores of Obama holdovers in this administration. We’re learning new things every day, which is making the anti-Trump hunters might nervous. And they should be fearful. They almost got away with one of the most destructive and malicious acts of corruption and malfeasance in recent memory.
