Clinton Campaign Chair: Yo! We Need To Dump Those Hillary Emails...'Better To Do So Sooner Than Later'

On the day after The New York Times published their piece (March 2, 2015) on how Hillary Clinton used a private email server for official business while at the State Department, the Clinton camp knew this was going to be an issue. Of course, they were confident that this story would pass on the airwaves, which didn’t happen, but the initial reactions seem to point that they all knew this could seriously hurt Clinton.

What other reason could there be for Clinton campaign chair John Podesta to email Hillary’s former chief of staff at State, Cheryl Mills, to say, “On another matter....and not to sound like Lanny, but we are going to have to dump all those emails so better to do so sooner than later.”

Another top Clinton ally, Neera Tanden, president of Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank founded by Podesta, described the whole email fiasco as “fucking insane,” and wondered if the person who thought that it was okay for Clinton to use a private email address while serving as our top diplomat had been drawn and quartered.

Clinton once again could be under the legal crosshairs as the FBI is reviewing 650,000 more emails found on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. Weiner is under investigation for illicit online interactions with an underage girl. His estranged wife, Clinton top aide and campaign vice chair Huma Abedin also used the laptop, which is how the emails were discovered. The FBI obtained a warrant to search the emails on Sunday and said they will work expeditiously to review all the new documents. In the meantime, FBI Director James Comey has been catching hell for informing the public and Congress days before Election Day.
