Michael Steele Finds His Voice

I've been critical of RNC Chairman Michael Steele in the past, but if today's "Meet
the Press" appearance is any indication, Steele may have finally found his voice.

Matched against DNC Chairman Tim Kaine, Steele more than held his own this morning.  He managed to avoid falling for host David Gregory's many enticing trap questions (Rush Limbaugh vs. Dick Cheney, anybody?), and scored a few points against Kaine and the Dems, as well.

Let's hope this is a sign that Steele has learned the lessons of his first few months in office, and has turned the corner.  Today's performance leaves me optimistic...
