Obama Now Supports FDIC Idea?

According to the AP,

"Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama said Tuesday the government should raise the federal deposit insurance limit from $100,000 to $250,000 as part of a renewed approach to shoring up the U.S. economy."

This idea was proposed by House Republican negotiators on Saturday evening -- but was strongly rejected by Democrats. 

This is the first time Obama has called for a specific proposal -- and it is one supported by conservatives.  Very interesting, indeed ...
