I agree with Kos here about the fact that MSM is an unfortunate acronym (even though it's simplicity has made even me guilty of using it). As Kos points out, the name implies bloggers

aren't mainstream. Personally, I prefer to refer to the old media as the "establishment media" (which isn't nearly as easy to write as MSM ...).
