WaPost Calls Gonzo a Terrorist?

Today's Washington Post "In the Loop" section features a blurb which seems to (jokingly, I hope) imply Alberto Gonzales is a terrorist:

For a week now, the Department of Justice Web site has headlined a press release about the indictment of a "Global Terrorist" and his brother on terrorism-related charges. When that terrorist is caught, just like with Osama bin Laden, he'll surely be shipped off to Guantanamo.

Hmmm. Didn't know Attorney General Alberto "Fredo" Gonzales had a brother.

(In fairness, the print edition includes a screen shot from the DOJ's website, which unfortunlatey included a picture of Gonzales next to the headline about a "Global Terrorist.")

It continually amazes me how often people will put unflattering (or impolitic) things about themselves on their own websites. Here's another example. This candidate, Paul Bucher is running for Attorney General in Wisconsin, and, get this, he captions a picture: "You'll find Paul at crime scenes on a regular basis." Um, okay...

... Back to the Gonzales issue, even assuming it was an attempt at humor, the WaPost most definitely crossed the line on this one.
