Fred and the Abortion Attackers

Jim Geraghty has some very interesting points which seem to poke holes in the theory that Thompson lobbied for a pro-abortion group.

According to Geraghty, parts of the original LA Times story are disappearing (which sort of reminds me of Back to the Future, when Marty's siblings keep disappearing from his polaroid).  In any event, I haven't written about this, primarily because the fact that one works for a pro-abortion group impeaches them as a witness.

All I can say is it's awfully damned funny – and convenient – that a Hillary Clinton-affiliated law firm is apparently incapable of finding billing records. It’s also interesting that they bring this up now, as opposed to when he was campaigning for the Senate.
