The Charlie Crist endorsement is huge, coming when it does, and given that it may have been promised to Rudy at one time. Ouch.

He's got a sky-high approval rating partly due to his recent dealings with the property insurance problems in the state, which Rudy was targeting with his "cat" fund ads.

Gov. Jeb Bush gained similar popularity by being the face of quick, effective disaster management through many a hurricane, and Crist it would seem inherited much of that good will and confidence.

But endorsements haven't seemed to move many votes this primary season. Voters are generally brushing aside prognosticators and pols alike, when it comes to recommendations. Will Crist's endorsement be any different?
