It Snowed On Iwo Jima

I'm not much for snow. I'm a Southerner, and frozen precipitation serves only to frighten and confuse me. But I must admit, D.C. is beautiful in the snow. I snapped a few pictures on the way to work. The flag on the memorial was hung up in the wind.

Edward J. Caffrey died on a Thursday during WWII. God bless him and the men and women like him who continue to give all. I'm headed downtown later today, so maybe I can snap a few more.

Update: Welcome, Instapundit readers! I'll try to have more snowy pictures up later today. I'm here all the time. Come back and visit some time!
