Teach the Children Well

Danny Glover, over at Beltway Blogroll, has authored a children's book.

As any good children's book has, it's got some lovable creatures, but it's also got some lessons in U.S. history and even a little bit of political philosophy. My favorite part in Danny's synopsis?

Weasels, indeed.

I'm ashamed to say it, but in my home state, we weren't required to learn U.S. history until 11th grade (although we did N.C. history in 4th), so I always like to see someone trying to get the kids started just a tad earlier than that.

The books site is here.
