In recent years, many left-wing Hollywood celebrities have comes out as "transgender," or in some cases, “non-binary,” meaning they do not align with being solely male or female.

In one case, former Disney Channel star Demi Lovato announced that she would go by gender-neutral “they/them” pronouns to align with her "non-binary" gender identity.

Shortly after, Lovato reversed course and started going by “she/her” pronouns again.

“It was absolutely exhausting,” Lovato reportedly told GQ Spain about her gender-neutral pronouns. “That is one of the reasons that have led me to also feel comfortable with the feminine pronoun ... I just got tired.”

This week, one actress announced that she’s a “a trans masculine non-binary person.”

Emma Dumont, 30, has also chosen a new name to align with her “gender identity” and will go by “they/them” pronouns.

Emma Dumont will now be known as “Nick” but will maintain “Emma” as “their” stage name.

“They identify as a trans masculine non-binary person. Their work name is still going to be Emma Dumont, but they will go by Nick with friends and family,” a representative told TMZ.

Dumont has over 25 acting credits since 2009, according to the New York Post. She was cast in the 2023 film “Oppenheimer” as J. Robert Oppenheimer’s sister-in-law, Jackie.

The Post noted that she also starred in Marvel’s “The Gifted,” Hulu’s “T@gged” and appeared in a 2017 episode of “Pretty Little Liars.”
