Pro-Family Company Announces ‘Baby Bonus’ for Employees Expecting or Adopting a Child

Pro-Family Company Announces ‘Baby Bonus’ for Employees Expecting or Adopting a Child

After Roe v. Wade was overturned nearly a year ago, several “woke” companies decided to unveil “abortion benefits” for their employees. This included covering travel for out-of-state abortions, and some companies announcing that employees could relocate out of pro-life states.

One company is going the opposite direction, and is offering its employees a “baby bonus” to push a pro-life, pro-family agenda.

PublicSq. is an app designed to connect “freedom-loving Americans in shopping quality products, services, and exclusive discounts from values-aligned businesses,” according to its website

On the website’s “values” section, it states: “We will always protect the family unit and celebrate the sanctity of everyday life.”

In an interview with Fox News over the weekend, Michael Seifert, the CEO and founder of the app, said that he is “pro-family” and that he will offer employees a “baby bonus” in response to all the companies that encourage employees to get abortions.

"We did see the world going in this direction that we believe is really anti-family," Seifert said in the interview. "We think that ultimately a company is only as strong as the families that built it, and then for us, we're a pro-family company. We're unashamed about that. And we're actually the largest marketplace in the country of pro-family businesses."

Reportedly, the company will offer $5,000 to any employee who has a baby or adopts a child.

"What better way to express this value that's core to our beliefs than actually putting some money behind it, putting our money where our mouth is," he continued.

"We wanted to sing an opposite tune and say, let's actually put $5,000 behind any of our employees that were to have a baby, their spouses to have a baby, or they were to adopt, and this would be $5,000 after tax," Seifert explained in the interview. "They can use it as they please. Just as an awesome ‘thank you’ for being a great team member and to empower their family to continue to grow."

As Townhall covered, Citigroup Inc.StarbucksYelp, JP Morgan, Netflix, Sony, Comcast and Microsoft, as mentioned before, have unveiled “abortion benefits.”

"That's the sad reality of this, is that these companies will pretend to care about, 'women's health care.' But at the end of the day, they just don't want to pay maternity leave," Seifert concluded. "They're more afraid of losing the monetary value that their employees provide. So they would rather choose that than they would to empower the growth of these families."
