Former President Donald Trump jumped back onto X, formerly Twitter, Monday evening for a wide-ranging, two-hour conversation with Elon Musk. Leftists opposed the interview even before it started both in America and abroad. Europe's Digital Commissioner Thierry Breton sent Musk a letter warning him about the EU’s rules on hate speech (prompting a colorful response from the tech billionaire), while stateside, regime media panicked that the unfiltered conversation would reach younger, first-time voters. As Matt reported, the Harris-Walz campaign sent a fundraising email in response, refusing to call the site X and arguing that Musk allowed the GOP presidential nominee to spread his “unhinged and hateful agenda to millions of users.”
This has gotta be the most petty and unhinged campaign email of all time and it's even more hilarious considering neither Kamala, nor Tim Walz have spent more than 0 seconds doing an interview, a press conference, or any conversation. pic.twitter.com/abZBy7Ge10

As Musk predicted, legacy media was quick to follow suit, 'trashing' the conversation because they were not in control of it, increasing the number of listeners as a result.
The knives are out for Elon and Trump.

The media is terrified of the fact that they both left a positive impression on listeners.
That they’re both decent, likable people who only want what’s best.
And the media is terrified that it is no longer relevant. X cuts out the… pic.twitter.com/4kIOeb08OC
Almost all of legacy media will trash the Trump conversation, thus driving total listeners probably past 200+ million 😂 https://t.co/44Mhr2hkAu

Combined views of the conversation with @realDonaldTrump and subsequent discussion by other accounts now ~1 billion https://t.co/s8x8QmdmnY

Musk offered Harris the same opportunity, but given she's avoided the media since being thrust into the top spot on the Democratic Party ticket, don't hold your breath.
