Awful: "Kill Mitt Romney" Page Left Up on Facebook for 17 Days

Disagreeing with a candidate’s policies or disliking them in general is one thing. Advocating for their death on Facebook (or anywhere) – quite another. Earlier today this disturbing page came to light:

Fortunately, Facebook has since removed it, but not before 27 people “liked” it and after it was left up for 17 days. Disgusting.

Another page was set up calling for its removal, which at the time of writing had 250 “likes.” Whether the person responsible for creating the page “Kill Mitt Romney” was making a joke or not, these types of acts are deplorable. For the most part, it’s safe to say those on both sides of the aisle can at least agree on this.
