Don't Patronize Wokeness

Editor's Note: Kurt Schlichter is back for another episode of his "Unredacted" podcast! His unfiltered, uncensored, exclusive podcast is for our valued Townhall VIP members. If you're not yet a VIP member, join today to support our conservative reporting and never miss a show!

Let's talk movies! Movies are a big deal right now. We saw "Mission Impossible 48" yesterday; I thought it was adequate. And you know what was nice? The complete lack of wokeness. There was none, except 110-pound Rebecca Ferguson was beating up giant dudes. There was no awareness of trans issues, no Pride stuff. However, it was not a huge hit compared to what else is coming out. There's the movie "Sound of Freedom," the anti-child sex trafficking film that is still doing very well at the box office, which shows there's a lot of room for conservative movies to be made. We need to stop patronizing wokeness. I'm also going to talk about "Oppenheimer," which I want to see, the left's latest whining about real history, and "Barbie."
