Will Republicans Censure Chuck Schumer?

After Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer openly threatened Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch on the steps of the Supreme Court earlier this week, Republican Senator Josh Hawley immediately called for him to be censured for his behavior.

Fourteen of Hawley's Republican Senate colleagues have joined an official censure resolution, but will others join them to hold Schumer accountable? That remains to be determined.

"It was a threat, it was a physical threat and I was proud to sign onto my colleague Josh Hawley's resolution to censure Senator Schumer," Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler told Fox and Friends Friday morning. "It's an insult to the American people to say you did not issue a threat to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court Justices, all of them, are doing good work and we need to keep politics out of this."

Schumer issued an "apology" Thursday, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell isn't buying it.
