The Democratic National Convention will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a *terrific* decision by the DNC. And it's the result of a ton of work by Wisconsinites who've been moving heaven & earth to prepare & make the case. Congrats to all. Now let's make it great!— Ben Wikler (@benwikler) March 11, 2019
The other choices were Houston and Miami. Miami of course is in the crucial state of Florida and Houston in Texas, where Democrats vow to turn the state blue.
The choice comes after twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton refused to campaign in Wisconsin during the 2016 election.
This is the most epic trolling of Hillary Clinton ever. https://t.co/a8LhJFBGCM— Jeryl Bier (@JerylBier) March 11, 2019
Donald Trump won the state, breaking down the Democrats' usually reliable "blue wall."

He then went on to win Michigan, another place Clinton failed to properly visit.
The question now is, will Hillary be invited? Probably not.
My gosh. DNC is taking extreme measures to ensure Hillary doesn't get a speaking role. https://t.co/KQ453SQ35i— Chris Pack (@ChrisPack716) March 11, 2019
Meanwhile, the DNC is standing by its decision to shut Fox News out of Democrat primary debates.
