Democrats have chosen failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams to give their response to President Trump's State of the Union Address.

Schumer confirmed the news Tuesday afternoon.

Abrams, who believes illegal aliens should be able to vote in elections, refused to concede to duly elected Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and repeatedly accused him of racism.

President Trump is set to give his State of the Union Address, which was delayed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during the government shutdown, on February 5. He officially accepted Pelosi's revinvitation Monday afternoon.
