Clinton's Press Secretary Reminds Trump: You Donated to The Clinton Foundation

Earlier this week GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump called for the Clinton Foundation to be shut down after new allegations of pay-to-play by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The Clinton campaign has been firing back all week, arguing the Foundation does important work around the world to help those in poverty and to prevent the spread of HIV.

Yesterday, Clinton campaign press secretary Brian Fallon reminded Trump that he donated money to the Clinton Foundation while Clinton was the secretary, making things a bit awkward. Trump also donated to Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign against Barack Obama.

The Clinton Foundation is reportedly under FBI investigation for public corruption. On Tuesday, emails obtained by government watchdog Judicial Watch revealed top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, who is now working on Clinton's presidential campaign, set up meetings with then Secretary of State Clinton only after donations were made to the Clinton Foundation. Essentially, they were selling access.

The Boston Globe, Huffington Post and other media outlets have called on the Clinton Foundation to be shut down if Clinton wins the presidency.
