Obama: I'll Buy a Volt...in Five Years

Barack Obama: stimulating the economy one Chevy Volt at a time....but not right now. President Obama told union workers in Michigan yesterday he will buy a Chevy Volt as soon as he leaves the White House.

"I got to get inside a brand-new Chevy Volt fresh off the line," he said, "Secret Service wouldn't let me drive it, but I liked sitting in it, it was nice, I bet it drives real good."

"And five years from now, when I'm not president anymore, I will buy one and drive it myself," he said to the cheering crowd who chanted. "Four more years."

Think he'll follow through? I doubt it. Considering Obama is used to getting hauled around in a luxurious limousine, I doubt he, or his wife Michelle, will find the Volt satisfactory. If he really plans on buying a Volt, he should buy it now, because it will take at least 5 years for it to charge before he can drive it.
